Mother's Day was last Sunday and I had an amazing Sunday! I have 2 kiddos who are just awesome and a hubby who made the day extra special! Minus the licking of the face ;) I felt pretty special and loved.
Madison made a fun little scavenger hunt with cute loving notes all through the house and silver pipe cleaner hearts ;)
I also got this pretty necklace from my lovely daughter!! :) Isn't it pretty?? I loved it!
It's springtime which means it's YARD SALE TIME!! It always is SO great to clean out and clear out some much needed junk and leftover stuff!! SO glad to have all of it gone!
Mason was gone on a trip to UT with Grandma and Grandpa so we took advantage and heading to the BMC for some track and trail time. Madison just LOVED her time and being able to ride with dad on the "big track"...
Do you see the baby geese? I find them adorable ;)
Challenge group is still going strong!! I'm doing P90X3 now.... kind of shortening it and doing only 1 week of each round as I can't seem to make it 90 days with any program because I get bored... SO... we shall see how this turns out! BUT loving the accountability and the push to stick with it!
It was tricep dip day!! He followed my lead and did his own!! 110 in less than 4 minutes... I WAS DYING!!!
And I still think my favorite part is seeing my kids find ways to participate or recognize the importance that working out plays in my own life... Develop healthy habits early and it will make it easier they say... here's to hoping it sticks with them!!
I do remember as a kiddo watching my mom work out to Cory???! Maybe was her name??! So... I know it works!!! Ha ha.. I even remember the weights she would use... Here's to hoping I can instill the same ideas and enthusiasm in these cute kiddos..
These 2 buddies make me laugh, cringe, and yell almost everyday... they are quite the dynamic duo and ALWAYS ready for an adventure.. whether or not we think it's an okay idea... Both boys use bare feet for brakes on bikes... like to race AS FAST AS POSSIBLE... love adventures to find mud holes and enjoy pushing each others buttons... along with lots of truck, and dirt time..... I can't wait to see what this warm and sunshine summer brings to them!!
My little book worms!! I usually head around and do the nightly check after they fall asleep and before I head to bed... and ALMOST always I find the lights still on and them surrounded by books.... Cute Madison was listening to a book on cd... right along side a huge stack of books... mind you the book that was on the cd was no where close..... or at least that I could tell!! LOL...
Shakeology sno-cones!!! Because... why not right?! I'm pretty sure he thought it was delicious!! ;)
We did our sno-cone fundraiser for YW and it was at the community garage sale... and Madison scored an awesome hat and some roller skates...The missionaries stopped by and Elder Tenney tried the hat on for size... Madison decided it was a much better fit for her.... SHE WAS SOOOOOOO excited! We were at the fundraiser Saturday morning and she has already put at least 8 hours in on them... she spent all afternoon helping Toad (our neighbor) who she claims as a 3rd grandma... with her flowers... and she did it all with skates on ;)
HA! That girl... she dances to her own song, which I admire love and hope to someday instill in myself as strongly as she has in hers.... because if there is one thing she has taught me it's that we should always dance to our own song, because no one else's will ever be our own.
