Random....

So I have been working on this post for some time, just putting pics on and saving the draft... it is just a bunch of random pics.. But after Memorial day I just decided to post it. It really has no theme, but I want to make sure I post the pics and document it for myself.... So enjoy the randomness...

One of my favorite things about where we live is the neighborhood kids. They are all fairly close in age and all have a great time playing together. Most afternoons after school they all play outside for at least a couple hours. Madison loves it! I caught this pic from a window in our extra room.... Makes me smile.
Mason will be 15 months old in just a few days! He is changing rapidly and becoming more independent and vocal. Some things are so much fun and then there are others I hope he quickly grows out of.
Right now eating is a huge challenge! He will devour something at one meal and then the next day he will take a bite and spit it out and act like he is so disgusted I would even think of feeding him something like that. His finicky style of eating is getting old.... And I'm hoping I can figure his rhythm out soon. But here  are a few funny pics of the messes he can make.
My favorite part about this one is his tongue plastered to the plate as to get all the cheese sauce off.
He will also go on spurts where no one can feed him and he wants to do it all by himself with no one else helping. Sometimes you can work the system by handig him the spoon full of food and he will put it in his mouth then give you back the spoon and wait for a refill..... Kind of humorous.
This is my cuddle bug on the way to daycare.
Here are my two boys sick. Ever sice we moved to hardin we have been more sick then we have ever been. I blame a lot of it on the fact madi's in preschool and mason goes to daycare when I work and then I'm often working with people who are sick. But we are tired of being sick. This cold/sinus infection/pink eye kicked our trash though. Started with Madison and it took her a solid 2 weeks to get over.... And a few weeks later mason got it, then brian got it, and then I finally succumbed and got it. It was a 2 moth ordeal. We went through a lot of Kleenex :( and we are so over even sick.

Madi loves getting ahold of my phone and taking the "selfie" pic. I get some awesome ones every now and then. And I always have at least 50 of the almost exact same picture.

This was how my Mother's Day began. Madi had fallen asleep after playing and didn't wake up for dinner. So I just let we sleep. Well she woke up not long after I went to bed and was starving. So we sat and had a bowl of cereal at the wee hours of the morning.. Happy Mom's day
Then off to church where I was given a pansy flower which madi quickly claimed and took ownership of.
Madi drew this picture for me. It even has our pets. :)
A fun costco trip. Costco is always more fun with dad as he pushes the cart fast down the empty isles. The M&M's were loving it.

This is probably one of my favorite pics of mason. Sheer happiness. He got a chocolate chip cookie for the first time.
Madi loves pushing mason in the stroller and mason loves getting pushed. Win win for me when I'm doing stuff outside. Well for at least 10 mins.
Roxy was spayed and wouldn't leave her incision alone so she had to sport one of Brian's tee shirts.
It was pure torture. Her best friend came to visit and was playing with madi with water outside. I am pretty sure she was asking me what she had done to deserve this. Ha ha ha

More feeding the face with the plate smash technique.
My gram bought this cart for madi and it has been the best toy. Madison still plays with it and mason loves it too. :) mason's favorite thing is to pack up a dirty diaper and put it in the cart and push it to the garbage. That's all great right? Gettin him to let me out the diaper in the garbage.... That's the problem. He won't let the diaper go. We are still working on that.... But just to clarify we definitely aren't keeping any dirty diapers. Lol!
Madi has begun taking pictures if others now too. So here is me making dinner one evening.
This was my Memorial Day! I woke up and went out to water some flowers and I heard something hit the floor after I opened the door! Ya I heard the spider hit the floor. Heard it! It was so ginormous and I'm SO glad it was already dead because had that thing crawled or even moved I probably would have died. I had the crawlies for hours and I'm calling pest control tomorrow.... Totally not ok. :/
Good man brian to take care of the problem. This took me back to Uruguay when my companion and I were visiting a member and she used a shovel to throw a spider in the fire. I remember hearing the thing crackle as it burned. Spiders shouldn't grow that big. It's not ok. So glad the hubster took care of it.
I made sure he chopped it up just in case mr. Long legs was faking his dried up death.
And this is why I didn't feel that bad about roxy not being able to play with her buddy. Someone forgot to shut the bathroom door.... Full roll of toilet paper. :/ I would like to point out at this time that there happens to be a perfectly suitable dog toy right next to where all that toliet paper lies... Ya that rope... perfect for chewing on, in fact the very reason we bought it.

Here are more pictures on Memorial Day. It was beautiful weather and a perfect day! I'm so grateful for all those who have served this country that allow me and my family to live here and live how we want. I'm grateful for america. So grateful for all those who choose to serve, because I know I couldn't do it.

Can't you just see him saying, "Really sis? Just let me be"

Where she found that stick is still a mystery to us....

Mason LOVES talking on the phone. This time he was actually talking to grammie. SO funny.. he was SO SO SO mad when I took it away.

Growing pains...

Mason officially grew too tall for his car seat, so we got him a "big kid" one. I'm pretty happy with myself as the M&M's have the same exact carseat model. :) masons is obviously a little newer and a different combo of colors.... But I was pretty happy I was able to accept them having different colors. I wasn't sure my OCD could take it, but I like it. :) a his and hers car seat.

Sometimes I really question our sanity.... Roxy is still a puppy but often I find myself forgetting that as she appears very "grown up dog-like". That being said on more than one occasion as of late... She has snatched yummy goodness from the counter. This time it was all my baking goodies I had recently purchased from the store. :/ besides the fact it was a lot of chocolate items... I had bought my favorite chocolate chips... Ya know the kind you only buy every once and awhile. The big giradella kind. Errrr she ripped open the bag and her dog slober was all over it. So even though she didn't eat many I still didn't feel like keeping them. Sad day for me. She didn't even touch the regular nestle kind. Obviously she has good taste for chocolate..... Which she shouldn't right?? As chocolate is poison for dogs? Errr what's wrong with her? Oh wait I forgot about my most favorite M&M's (not my kiddos, the real candy coated kind) I NEVER buy them because I don't like eating artificial dyes and madi can't have them... Blah blah blah.... And the dog slobbered on that bag too. She must have eaten some because some had been spit out. They were all sticky and slimy. Yuck, and sad.

On a happier note... We have an ambulator! :) little mason man is officially walking all over the place. He walks with both arms sticking out to the side. So cute and funny. He thinks he is big stuff, especially when he climbs onto things.

I think the fly like an eagle poses are my favorite. :)

Mason uses a binky at nap time and at church to keep him quiet. He doesn't  really use one more than that... But if he sees one he will pop it in real quick! Well I had sent one through the dishwasher and was unloading it and I turned around to find this! So hilarious. I watched for while... Poor kid couldn't get it unhooked from the rack so instead just decided to suck on it right there. I was laughing so hard and he turned (with the binky still in) and gave me a stricken look like, "your laughing?!? This is serious, get my binky out!! Now!!"

This move right here makes mason feel like he is big stuff! He thinks he is so funny and he shouts for anyone to look and laugh with him.

The M&M's getting along nicely in the car... For about 20 seconds.
The best part about this picture is how quickly it changed. They were both happy, and I turned around and thought "cute pic!" And took one and right after that madi was yelling and mason started crying.  *sigh* but the pic makes it look like they were having such a great time. Not so much the case.

Madi is getting to be such a great big sister and a helper. When she wants to be she does an amazing job! She will play with mason and he just loves getting her attention. It can go the opposite way too and the 2 of them can be like oil and water.... But it's getting to be easier.... At times..... I think. :)

Here are the latest "madi-isms"

Stretching her arms over her head she says, "I'm trying to get my bones in the right spot!"

Oh man dad didn't take the mail! We forgot to ask him.
"That's otay we will just ask him when he comes back.... I always have good plans huh mommy?"

Mason is always wrong and I'm always perfect.

I wish I was like a dog and could poop.
* I'm not sure if this reflects more on how much roxy poops or how much the poor girl fights constipation. :(

Hooray hip hip! Hooray hip hip

We have been able to spend more and more time outside. Which makes me and everyone else happy. I hope the nice warm weather keeps coming. :)
