Madison got to come to work with me for 2 days this week! Poor girl has had a nasty cold and with my schedule this week I couldn't stay home with her... so she got to come with ;) Kiddos seem to enjoy being able to come to work with mom... and it usually works out pretty slick.
I love and enjoy my PTA job! It's so flexible and I'm able to pick and choose my hours... for the most part. I super enjoy being able to use my degree and love how it challenges me to learn and become better at "rehabbing" people.
I usually work Tue/Thur afternoons from about 12:30-5:30... but like this week, sometimes it's more.
I had a booth on Saturday! LOVED it! One of my more successful ones so far. I was digging my set up and loving the spot I had! My little helper was trying so hard to be helpful, but being at the zoo.. RIGHT next to the playground and surrounded by AWESOMENESS... she had more fun doing the zoo activities than hanging out with the books ;)
Setting up... Amazing how it all comes out of boxes.... and then somehow becomes pretty ;)
THE EASTER BUNNY!!!! Kiddos were SO excited ;) Madison has loved LOVED the Easter Bunny since she was like 18 mo. old... and the tradition seems to carry on.
The finished look ;)
Thankfully I sold lots of these ;) So we didn't have to pack up nearly as many!
My helper spent about half of her time, sneaking books from the chapter book section and reading them real quick ;)
In the lunch we packed, I had some carrots... after getting her own Easter egg from the Easter bunny she decided it would be nice to take some carrots to the Easter Bunny... so she did and got JUST the reaction she wanted.. lots of loves and furry hugs.
You may or may not be able to tell... but LOOK at how many books are gone! :D Happy book lady ;)
My selfie with my FANNY PACK! Yes... I now sport a fanny pack to all my booths... and I LOVED it! LOVE LOVE LOVE my fanny pack... A LOT. All you nay sayers out there about fanny packs should take it all back ;)
If you know me... you know that this is a HUGE no-go in my home... face painting... BUT... it happened and I think her cute little face says it all. She used her $7 to get her face painted... and while I'm never crazy about red dye and others seeping and toxifying ... She was so cute and excited about how she looked... It was hard not to be excited with her.
We took the long way home and chased the rainbow!! It was a fun drive and the kiddos enjoyed seeing where it was going to end and looking for a pot of gold!
Poor tired purple tiger... ;) She had a pretty fun and awesome day!
